7. MEDICAL FITNESS AND SAFETY
Participation in karate competitions involves inherent physical risks, including the risk of injury.
Each athlete is responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to participate and for holding a valid Athlete Health Card as required by the applicable sporting regulations and the relevant event proclamation.
A medical doctor will be present at the event. Medical personnel and authorized officials may intervene when necessary to address a medical or safety concern.
The presence of a doctor does not eliminate the risks associated with competition and must not be interpreted as a guarantee that injuries or medical emergencies will not occur.
The Organizer may refuse, suspend, or terminate an athlete’s participation where a legitimate medical or safety concern arises.
Athletes must follow medical instructions and the decisions of authorized officials concerning their safety and ability to continue competing.
8. COMPETITION RULES AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Each event will be conducted according to the rules and procedures specified in its official proclamation.
Where applicable and as specified for the relevant event, the competition may follow the rules of the World Karate Federation (WKF) and/or the Hellenic Karate Federation (E.L.O.K.).

Violations of the applicable rules or official instructions may result in warnings, penalties, disqualification, or removal from the event, in accordance with the relevant regulations.
9. PROTESTS AND APPEALS
Protests and appeals must follow the procedure established in the official proclamation for the relevant event.
The proclamation may specify who is authorized to submit a protest, the applicable deadline, the required form, any protest fee, and the process for reviewing the protest.
Decisions will be handled under the applicable competition rules and procedures.
The existence of these Terms does not create an additional right of appeal beyond the procedures established in the relevant event regulations and applicable law.

11. CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES AND BELTS
Where championship titles or belts are awarded, the applicable award conditions will be announced in the relevant event proclamation or official championship regulations.
The regulations may specify title recognition, possession of a championship belt, title-defence obligations, and the circumstances under which a title may be declared vacant or otherwise reassigned.
No title-defence obligation or specific belt-retention condition is established by these general Terms unless expressly stated in the applicable championship regulations.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that any material they submit does not unlawfully infringe third-party rights. The Organizer may restrict the use of material where necessary to comply with applicable law or platform and venue requirements.
Any additional conditions will be communicated before the relevant event.
14. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, AND MEDIA
Photography, video recording, livestreaming, and other forms of media coverage may take place at Apex Karate Championship events.
Event-related photographs and recordings may be used for legitimate purposes such as event reporting, sporting documentation, publication of results, and promotion of the championship, subject to applicable data-protection and privacy laws and the relevant legal basis for the processing.
Where consent is legally required, the Organizer will obtain it through an appropriate process. Additional safeguards or authorizations may apply to participants under the age of 18.
Information about personal-data processing, media use, applicable rights, and how to exercise those rights will be provided through the relevant Privacy Policy and any event-specific notices.
